My name is Vigdis and I have been living on ANTIPAROS for 23 years. I speak English, Greek and Norwegian.
I am here to help you find the perfect accommodation for YOUR holiday on Antiparos. Anything from a simple room to a luxury, staffed villa. If you visit Antiparos out of season, ie April, May, June, September and October, you will have a unique holiday experience. I will prepare a special package of accommodation and activities to suit you and your needs and wishes.
This is some of what I can offer you: • Accommodation in an apartment or a private villa (from simple rooms to a small apartment or a private villa) • Lunchtime picknics or evening barbeques on faraway beaches, either by boat or on foot • Deep sea fishing trips • Olive oil making - We pick the olives, then we press them to make oil, and you get a bottle to take home (second part of October) • Wine making - You help pick the grapes, then you take off your shoes and join in the stamping to make the wine (normally first week of September) • Ouzo destilling - I can take you on an Ouzo destillery crawl, where we visit two or three different destilleries to watch the ouzo being made and join the locals in their all night partying, eating and drinking the ouzo straight from the tap! (second part of October) • Walk the Byzantine walk in Paros, starting at Lefkes village, with a picknic, and followed by a visit to the Moraitis Winery, where you can buy Paros wine to take home.
Let me have the following information: • When do you wish to come and for how many days do you want to stay. • How many people? Ages of children. • Where would you like to stay, in Antiparos Town, in Soros or St Georgio? • What kind of accommodation would you prefer? • Do you have any special requirements?
With the above information I will be able to research and find the perfect place for you. I recommend only places inspected and known by me personally and send you my own photos.I charge 10% for my work.
This holiday house is in Soros, about 400m from the beach, with wonderful views towards Paros, Naxos and Ios. It is 100m2 with a garden of 2300 m2. The house is suitable for a family or for a group of friends. There are 3 bedrooms for 5 people and the price is absolutely reasonable compared to some of the outrageous prices you will find if you want to rent a house in the Cyclades (100 euro a day in June and Juli and 150 euro a day in August).
The house is fully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, art and photographs on the walls, and thousands of books in many languages. There is also a washing machine, TV and video.
The house consists of: • 3 bedrooms • 1 bedroom with a large double bed • 1 child's room with bunk beds • 1 study with single divan bed • 1 large bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and basin • outside shower • 1 small office with PC • 1 large and sunny kitchen/dining/living room • terrace with pergola for eating outside The house is fully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen, art and photographs on the walls, and thousands of books in many languages. There is also a washing machine, TV and video.
Prices in 2010 for the holiday house in Soros: Price for June/July 100 euro per day. Price for August 150 euro per day or 4000 euro for all the month
Soros Beach on the island of Antiparos
Soros beach is the best beach on Antiparos, with two great tavernas. It is only 1 km to Apantima and the restaurant Still Waters. St Georgios with its wonderful tavernas is 1 km in the other direction. On Soros Beach there is also a part where there is room for the naturists. It is a very quiet place with no noise from bars etcetera. Amenities like supermarkets and an ATM machine you find in Antiparos Town. Although Antiparos is not such a very large island I recommend to rent a car or a bike when you stay in Soros. People stay here to get a piece of the authentic unspoilt island life
